We have noticed that organizations struggle with the marriage between agile and architecture. Sometimes agile takes precedence, sometimes architecture takes precedence. Our attempt with the conference is to encourage conversation between practitioners of these different domains, further understanding and respect, and find new ways to achieve common goals for modern organizations.
We have moved the conference date due to COVID-19
In the last few weeks, we have spent a lot of time thinking about our AmA conference. Based on our experience with the last few attempts at creating hybrid conferences, we have decided not to move forward with that format.
While we have seen successful online conferences, we still think that the conference’s explicit goal to allow for two separate communities to interact would best be met with a traditional, on-premise conference, with only very few online speakers. We do not see how that could realistically happen in March 2021.
We have therefore decided to postpone the conference to 6-7 October 2021, and we will revisit that decision in the first week of February. Our hope is that until then, things will have settled to some new kind of normal that allows us to build a great conference.
The Call for Proposals ended August 31, 2020. Many thanks to all people who proposed a talk.
